Today I am extremely honoured to be receiving an Alphege Award for Evangelism and Witness from the Archbishop of Canterbury. Through my book, CBBC programme and my blog I have endeavoured to bear testimony to Jesus as my sustainer, Lord and saviour in the hope it will bring encouragement to others.

I read your book Eye Can Write earlier this year and meant to contact you to say what an inspiration you are. I have been a Christian since 1966 and am now 67, but I think you have encouraged more people than I have! You and your family are awesome, because you know and show that you have an awesome God.
