Remember, remember the 5th… of February (it started well!) Put the kettle on and sit down to watch CBBC at 5:30pm. Filmed in November and December 2016, the crew followed me through confirmation, meeting the minister and spending time with Michael Morpurgo. Watch the foretaste of the series below. Enjoy!
Hello Jonathan. I was very interested to read about you in The Times today. I am a teacher and I was struck by the mature command of language you have for someone so young. Have you ever thought about writing poetry? I suspect you would be rather good at it. If you are interested let me know. I’ve taught lots of children your age to start writing poetry!

Thankyou to you too, lots of cake!
Loved the Herring story by the way. I enjoy writing very much as well, did one about a pigeon who loved mirrors and hats, and missed out on all the crumbs. Coo!
Take care, lots to do! All my best.

Remember, the worlds of art and words are beautifully intertwined. I’m glad we know.
Keep going.

I have seen this Earth and all its beauty. I am a lucky man.
But what is the good of going to the garden Jonathan if others are not to bear your fruit?

Thank you for your truly wonderful film which had me in floods of tears. To hear your voice which will eventually give a voice to others is one of the most specials gifts one could give.
You have a wonderful Mother and you are both an inspiration.
God bless you and all your family.

I watched the programme last night (bit delayed sorry!) And I found it a fantastic watch. I was moved to tears, for all sorts of reasons and at different times. But mainly because of how much of a dude you were when you met Michael Morpurgo! What a great man, and an inspiration to my own children too.
And having watched the programme with my kids, they agree that you are an inspiration too.
God bless you in all you do, especially with your campaigning

Hello Jonathan,
I’ve just watched ‘My Life’ – you and your family are amazing!
You are truly inspirational, and I’m forwarding the link your programme to some of my friends and family who will be touched by your determination, and your faith…
You have such a strong voice, and it was wonderful to hear Michael Morpurgo affirming you!
You and I have a few things in common – our faith, the way we love writing (I’m deaf, so I prefer this way of communicating) and a sense of humour! The main difference, is that I’m nearer to Mr Morpurgo in age as I’m 57!
I’m so glad I’ve seen a glimpse of the wonderful gift you are to so many people. It’s also great to have discovered your web page.
I have a page on WordPress and my weekly blog is called ‘Truth is’. Last week’s post ended with the words ‘Don’t lose your sparkle..’
– You shine and sparkle Jonathan, thank you for shining light on my path…
Blessings,
Joanna
